Patricia "Pat" Lynn (Jager) Averill, age 84, of Sparta, Michigan passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025.  She was born December 25, 1940, in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Robert and Helen (Barnes) Jager.  Pat graduated from Coopersville high School with the class of 1959.  She then married the love of her life, Raymond Benjamin Averill on March 17, 1962 and together they had five children.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Ray; children, Christine, Roger (Lorraine), Susan, and Dan Averill; granddaughter, Marisa Averill; great-grandson, Remington; sister, Mary (Dan) Umlor; and sister-in-law, Pat Jeluso.

Pat was preceded in death by her son, John; her parents; sister, Sheila Jager; brothers, Phil, William "Bill", Mike, and Gary Jager; and infant brother, Stephen Marc Jager.

Per Pat's wishes no formal services will be held and she will be laid to rest at Algoma Township Cemetery.
