Surrounded by her family, Patricia Ellen Alt, age 80, of Comstock Park, passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Friday January 13th, 2023, after a courageous year and a half battle with cancer. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Virginia Stevens; her niece; Stacey Kelly; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Caroline Alt; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carole Alt, Mary Jo Rauser, Michael Alt, Beverly Alt, and Timothy Alt. Patricia is survived by her loving husband and partner of over 30 years, David Alt; daughter, Laura (Jeff) Mancha; grandchildren, Matthew, Mya, and Madison Mancha; brothers, Don (Molly) Stevens; Robert (Lois) Stevens; her sister Carol (Mike) Kelly; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marcia (Robert Spruit, Thomas (Beth) Alt, Joseph (Dorothy) Alt, Cynthia (Michael) Hoogewind, Daniel (Beth) Alt, and Gary Rauser; and her many nieces and nephews. Patricia was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. In her early years she had a passion for sewing and would generously sew for others as well make matching outfits for her and her daughter. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, and cooking. She made the best deviled eggs and pumpkin rolls. Patricia loved to spend time with her husband traveling and snowmobiling. She was a beloved grandmother who cherished every moment she spent with her grandchildren. She touched so many lives with her kindness and generosity. She had many friends and a family that adored her. She was very loved and will be deeply missed. Relatives and friends may greet the family at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park, on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m. with Deacon Jerry Roersma. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1200 Alpine Church Road, Comstock Park on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Father Chris Rouech officiating. The family will also greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the Mass at church.
