BAKER - Paula R. Baker, age 52, of Cedar Springs, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 28, 2013. Paula was recently preceded in death by her father, Theodore Charles Baker. She is survived by her daughter, Sharlana (Jon) Pitsch; Ron Stanley, the love of her life and best friend of nearly 21 years; grandsons, Jonathan and Michael Pitsch; mother, Annamae Baker; brothers, Roy (BoaKame) Baker, Bruce (Betsy) Baker; sister, Carla (Rich) Schoenborn; aunts, uncles, many nieces and nephews. Paula was a generous compassionate person to her family as well as everyone whose lives she touched. She enjoyed spending time with her precious grandsons and her wonderful family. Paula was a 26 year member of Benteler Automotive, where she was loved and appreciated by co-workers and managers alike. She truly believed in practicing the principles of gentleness, kindness, compassion and understanding to everyone she came across. For the last ten years Paula loved being at the Blues on the Mall at Rosa Park on Wednesday evenings. Please join the family for visitation at the Beuschel Funeral Home 5018 Alpine Avenue from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, July 31, 2013. A Commemoration of her life will be held at the Beuschel Funeral Home on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the Funeral Service, with Pastor Mary Ivanov from Cedar Springs United Methodist Church.
