Mr. Ray D. Zimmerman, age 85 of Cedar Springs, MI, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022. He was born July 7, 1936 in Grand Rapids, MI. Ray was employed as a type setter at Central Trade Plant. He also owned ZTP Graphics and had worked for the City of Walker, MI. Ray served his country being a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed woodworking and loved animals, especially his dog, Mattie. Ray is survived by one son, Jeffrey Zimmerman; one daughter, Debbie (Gary) Johnson; five grandchildren, Matthew, Jillian, Jeremy, Anna, Kyle; nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Donna Hupp. The Memorial Service for Ray will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Ave., NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321, with Pastor Dale Kleinheksel officiating. Interment will be in the Alpine Center Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, one hour prior to the service.
