GONZALEZ - Ricardo Gonzalez Sr., age 64, of Grand Rapids, went to be with Jesus Christ on Monday, December 21, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father, Hugo Gonzalez and his son-in-law, Domingo Castro Jr. Ricardo is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Rosemarie Gonzalez; children, Roxanne Gonzalez, Ricardo Gonzalez Jr., Hugo (Kaylee) Gonzalez, and Ryan Gonzalez; grandchildren, Gabriel Castro, Alexandria Castro, and Remington Gonzalez; mother, Icela Gonzalez; siblings, Francisca (Jesus) Velarde, Hugo (Rosario) Gonzalez, and Sergio (Maria) Gonzalez. Ricardo graduated from a university in Mexico with an accounting degree before moving to the Grand Rapids Area. He worked as a machine operator and technician for General Motors and Flex in Coopersville until his retirement. His greatest joy in life was in spending time with his children and grandchildren and making sure they were well provided for. He rarely missed an important moment in their lives. Ricardo always made sure his family had everything they needed and loved to spoil his grandchildren. The family will receive family at the Beuschel Funeral Home, on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. the funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon Carlos Gutierrez of St. Joseph the Worker Parish presiding. Interment will follow with a procession to Chubbuck Cemetery in Kent City. Service Details.
