MILING - Richard "Dick" J. Miling, age 87, of Comstock Park, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jane (Earl) Cederquist. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Linda Miling, sons Kurt and Craig (Lynne) Miling, granddaughter, Joley, and also by nieces and nephews. He worked for American Seating and then retired from AutoDie as a tool and die maker. Dick loved to travel and be at their cottage in Northern Michigan. He loved to talk and was an avid storyteller. Dick was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church and American Legion Post 47. He served his country during the Korean War. The Celebration of Dick's life will be held Friday, June 7, 2019, at 11:00 am, with visitation one hour prior to the service, at Zion Lutheran Church, 582 Lamoreaux Dr. NW, Comstock Park, with Pastor Julie Schneider-Thomas, and under the auspices of the Kent County Veterans Honor Guard.
