Richard Sebastian Pitsch, age 74, of Middleville, MI passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024.  Richard was born on April 8, 1950 in Comstock Park, MI to Richard L. Pitsch and Johannna (Grathen) Pitsch.  Richard enjoyed growing up on a farm.  He loved going to auctions, buying and selling things.  Richard was a self-taught handyman who could fix anything.  He loved woodworking and made many beautiful things.  Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard L. Pitsch and Johanna Grathen Pitsch; his brother, Nicholas (Dorothy) Pitsch; his sisters, Joan Welke, Linda (Floyd) Sheldon, Helene Pitsch; brother-in-law, Robin Hansen. Richard is survived by his daughter, Amanda Pitsch Sumner and son-in-law, Jonathan Sumner; his son, Christopher Pitsch; his 4 grandchildren, Anneliese, Avri, Camdyn and Colton; his sisters, Donna (Richard) Sheldon, Jean Hansen; many nieces and nephews. A committal service will take place on Wednesday, September 18, 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Cemetery, 1200 Alpine Church Rd NW, Comstock Park, MI.
