SWARTZ - Richard Allen Swartz, age 71, of Comstock Park, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother, Donna (Harold) Mead, father, Archie Arthur Swartz and sister-in-law, Debbie Swartz. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Pamela (Trylch) Swartz, beloved children James (Rebecca), Scott (Tamara), grandchildren Alex, Samantha, Paige, Chase, Trent, Logan, brothers Art (Karen) Swartz, Wayne Swartz, sister Shirley (John) Mull. Richard worked for Consumers Energy for 38 years. He enjoyed his family by joking, kidding around and supporting them in all their sporting events. He served our country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of American Legion Post 47. Richard was a dedicated University of Michigan fan. Go Blue!
