WILLIAMS - Richard D. Williams, age 69, of Comstock Park, passed away from respiratory heart failure after a short illness on Thursday, March 31, 2016. Mourning Richard's passing, are his wife of 46 years, Sharon; daughters, Nicole (Mike) Sarver and Rachelle (David) Johnson; grandchildren, Abigail, Hailey and Isaac Sarver and Evan and Emma Johnson; sister, Diane R. Strauss; in-laws, Dan, Greg, Patty and Mike Grose. Richard was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Dorothy Williams; father and mother-in-law, Maurice and Mary Ann Grose. He served his country in the United States Navy. Richard was employed by Con Rail Railroad and later worked at Medema VanKooten Engineering. A memorial gathering will take place at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m., and from 6 to 8 p.m.
