STEIN - Rita I. Stein, age 96, of Comstock Park, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 28, 2020. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Gene Stein; son, Paul Stein; son-in-law, Dave Ashley, and seven brothers and sisters. Rita is survived by beloved children, Randy Stein, Dana Ashley, Mark (Karen) Stein, Peter (Sue) Stein, Timothy (Laurie) Stein, and Phillip (Bud) Stein; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Linda Stein;. Rita was a kind and generous soul, and a devoted mother of seven. She enjoyed doll making and world travel. Rita was an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, she and her husband were instrumental in acquiring the first school bus at Holy Trinity Catholic School. She also founded and was the pioneer of the first Horse Club of Alpine Township. The family will receive friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Ave., Comstock Park on Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1200 Alpine Church Rd., Comstock Park, with Rev. Father Chris Rouech officiating as celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
