BROWN - Robert "Bob" Fredrick Brown, age 81, of Wright Twp., went to be with his Lord and Savior surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 24, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Brown; children, Bob (Heather) Brown, Jr., Tom (Carna) Brown, Rita (Kevin) Kushner, Marty (Vicki) Brown, Michele (Reggie) Poindexter, Kim (Mike) Clarke, Patrick (Mary Beth) Brown, Beth (Jon) Lehner; siblings, Alice (Darrell) Schmuker, Kathy (Duane) Perrin, Gary (Pat) Brown; sisters-in-law, Elsie Loney and Rosemary Coy; twenty-one grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Robert served our country in the Army and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus Post 4404 and the Marne American Legion Post 376. The family will receive family and friends for visitation at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 26th with the rosary at 6:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, November 27, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Wright Township, with Fr. Fred Brucker, Fr. Anthony C. "Tony" Vainavicz, Fr. Donald E. Weber, and Fr. Ayub Francis Nasar as con-celebrants. A private interment will be held at St Joseph's Church Cemetery under the auspice of the Kent County Veterans Honor Guard. The family asks that memorial contributions be directed to the Lacks Cancer Center in memory of Robert Brown.
