MICKLATCHER, Robert "Bob" George Micklatcher Jr., age 74, of Kent City, entered peacefully into eternal rest after his battle with cancer, on Saturday, January 13, 2018. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. and Mary Micklatcher. He is survived by his wife, Dianna; daughter, Anna (Randy) Jane Micklatcher-Peterson; step-son, Joshua Tesch; granddaughter, Lenna Hope Peterson; step-grandson, Jasper Tesch; sister, Shirley Ryan; nieces, nephews and friends. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS McDonough. He retired as a Superintendent from Earhardt Construction. After his retirement he drove for U-Haul and Same Day Delivery. He enjoyed living in the country and had a great love for his animals and also enjoyed attending area auctions. Thank you to Spectrum Health Hospice for their care given to Bob. The family will greet family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue N.W., Comstock Park, on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Celebration of Bob's life will follow at 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home, with Deacon Jerry Roersma and under auspice of the Kent County Honor Guard.
