Robert (Bob) Modzeleski passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully in his sleep along with his loving wife, Barbara, and son Tim, on December 20, 2023. He is survived by their children, Roy, Cindy, and Linda, his four siblings, grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great great grandchild and numerous extended family. He married Barbara Haisma on August 9,1959 in Las Vegas, and renewed their vows in the Catholic church on October 17, 1964. At that time, he had many odd jobs including working in his dad's sawmill, until settling into his lifelong trade as an electrician at Steelcase for 30 years, retiring in 1999. He continued to keep busy throughout his lifetime, always tinkering with something and was happy to take his time to share his knowledge of home and auto repair with others. He was strong in his faith and showed his love for God by being there for others in bad times and good, always doing as much as he could to help others. One of his favorite things to do was drive around on trash day to collect discarded items to repair to give to someone that needed it. He had an abundance of hobbies throughout his life including flying and had his private pilot's license; being outdoors with deer season being his favorite time of year. He was so excited to get a trophy buck last year and he got another big deer this season. He also enjoyed playing softball with the 1360 Gang for many years and golfing later in life. At various points in his life he was also an avid bowler, water-skier, and snow-mobiler. He, Barb, and Tim enjoyed their winters in Florida and took many trips over the years with family.
