SMITHE - Robert "Bob" J. Smithe, age 76, of Marne, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 28, 2014. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph; parents, Benjamin and Helen; brother, Bill; sister, Mary. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Diane; beloved children, Robert (Cheryl) Smithe, Donna (Chuck) Button, Matthew (Lindsay) Smithe; step children, Dennis Klompstra, Sam (Jamie) Klompstra; granddaughters, Jenna (Jason) Kinsman, Kristina Smithe, Emma Brady; grandsons, Joshua and Jacob Smithe; great granddaughter, Addison Kinsman; step grandchildren, Nick and Sam Vandermolen, Joshua, Ethan and Hunter Klompstra; sister, Julitta (Herb) Rodgers and in-laws. He retired from General Motors, truck driving and farming. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service following at 3:00 p.m., with Rev.
