Roger V. Saur of Sparta, Michigan, age 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 1, 2022. He was born to Willard and Veatrice on May 3, 1932, in Sparta, MI. Roger enjoyed farming, politics, and spending time with friends and family. He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 32 years, Elisa; children, Phil Saur, Susan Saur, Mark (Lisa) Saur; mother-in-law, Elizabeth; brothers and sister-in-law, Joseph (Vivilyn) Nacua, Julius (Dahlia) Nacua, Jupiter (Flor) Nacua, and Janine Nacua; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Roger was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie (Joan) Saur; sister, Patricia (Marvin) Lockard; father-in-law, Cesar Nacua; and both parents, Willard and Veatrice. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Michigan, Kindred Hospice, and Home Instead for their care and compassion towards Roger. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Ave. NW, Comstock Park on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
