Obituary

Rudolph R. Wagner, age 63, of Grand Rapids (formerly of Conklin), went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, August 17, 2012. He is survived by his son, R.J. (Tammy) Wagner, sister, Jean (Steve) Hindenach, nieces, Sara (Nic) Rainwater, Gina Hindenach, special aunt, Florence Beuschel, close cousin, Mary Jo Beuschel-DeMeester, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Catherine Wagner, special uncle, Ed Beuschel, several aunts and uncles. Rudy was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. He loved fishing and the outdoors. He shared his love of nature by taking flowers to his Aunt Florence once a month. Rudy also enjoyed playing drums in the family polka band. He was a true Spartan fan. A special thanks to Heron Manor and their staff where he enjoyed many friends and Wii sports. The family will receive visitors at the Beuschel Funeral Home 5018 Alpine Ave., Comstock Park on Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be offered on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior at St. Luke's Lutheran Church 3215 4 Mile Rd. N.E., with Pastor Frank Rothfuss as celebrant. In memory of Rudy please consider making a memorial contribution to St. Luke's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or assist with the funeral expense.
