Russell Glenn Parker, age 94, of Comstock Park, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Cheryl (Steven) Hews, Ross Parker, Stephen (Lois) Parker, Kevin (Anna) Parker and daughter-in-law, Brenda Parker; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren; brother, Duane (Barbara) Parker; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Russell was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn; son, Kim Parker; grandson, Mike Hutting; parents, Glenn and Verona Parker; and daughter-in-law, Bonnie Parker. Russell enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his cottage and made everyone feel welcome. After years of working in the industry, he founded Parker Excavating, Gravel and Recycle, Inc. He loved to work and worked all his life. Russell enjoyed collecting antique cars and John Deere tractors. He served in the National Guard out of high school. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 29, 11:00 am at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Ave NW, Comstock Park, MI. Friends and relatives may meet the family at Beuschel Funeral Home on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm for a visitation and one hour on Friday from 10:00 - 11:00 am.
