Russell Webster Parris, age 89 went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 2, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerred (Jane) Parris; mother; Anna Parris; sister, Alma Malfroid; brother, William Parris. He is survived by his sons, James (Stacey) Parris; Timothy Parris; grandchildren, Katelyn (Jared) Wierda; Nicholas (Kelsey) Parris; Alexander Parris and (Jaelyn); great-grandchildren, Jade and Sophie Wierda; Vyolette Parris; brothers, Jerry, Chris, John, Kevin, Craig, and Michael; sisters, Valerie and Margaret. Russ proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. Russ worked over 40 years at Oliver Products. Russ was a wonderful father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He never missed any of his sons and grandkids sporting events. The family will be receiving visitors for a Celebration of Life on Sunday, May 5 at the Brick Haus Brews, 133 E. Division St., Sparta, MI starting at 1:00 pm.
