ELLIOTT - Sandra J. Elliott Pruss, age 60, of Grand Rapids, unexpectedly passed away after a long battle with COPD on Tuesday, January 7, 2020. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Elaine Elliott; brother, Steven Elliott; and granddaughter, Emilia Gross. She is survived by her loving children, Erich (Lindsay) Elliott, Sarah (Derik) Gross, Tyler (Vanessa) Elliott, and Jasmine Elliott; sister, Sue (Doug) Bailey; brother, Tom (Bren) Elliott; and nine grandchildren. Sandy worked for the United States Postal Service for 20 years in the downtown Grand Rapids branch. Sandy was a devoted mother who loved her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed spending time with her family. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Friday, January 10, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A Memorial Celebration of Sandy's life will follow at the funeral home.
