Shirley Ann Hathaway, age 86, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Commonwealth Senior Living.  She was born in Duluth, MN to Russell and Ida Hathaway.  Shirley was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She started babysitting at a young age and continued throughout her life for family, including being a live-in nanny.  She enjoyed collecting many things including, Teddy Bears, windchimes, fairies and Precious Moments figurines.  Shirley appreciated the outdoors; you could find her walking everywhere.  Her favorite restaurants that she frequented were Mr. Burger and Big Boy.  Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Ida Hathaway; brothers, Jerry, Harold and Charles Hathaway; Charlie Schaeffer; daughter, Crystal Inman.  Shirley will be loving remembered and missed by her daughters, Linda (Andrew) Lee, Leslie (John) O' Leary; grandchildren, Philip, Vicky, Forest Jr., Mary and Danny Inman, Jessica (Shawn) Bracken, Jennifer Lee, Douglas (Brandi) O'Leary, David (Margaret) O'Leary, Rebecca (Jose) Ruiz, Kathleen (Nolan) Geers, Debra O'Leary; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
