Stanly Cole Cebelak, age 24, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 25, 2026. He was born July 30, 2002, in Grand Rapids, to Robert and Brenda (Schenk) Cebelak. Stanly graduated from West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science with the class of 2021. He worked the last few years in the produce department at Meijers where he met many coworker friends.

Stan was a quiet and steadfast individual that did not put up with others' BS. He had a big heart and a gentle soul. He was an avid animal lover and died trying to save his dogs.

Survivors include his parents, Robert and Brenda Cebelak; brother, Vincent Cebelak; niece, Charlie Cebelak; paternal grandmother, Terri Cebelak; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Joseph Cebelak; maternal grandparents, Mark and Patricia Schenk; and aunt, Mary Zylstra.

Gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321.

The Cebelak family would like to extend a special thank you to the brave men and women at the Grand Rapids Fire Department and surrounding departments that aided in trying to save Stanly and to the staff at Butterworth Hospital.
