DUNNETTE - Steven J. Dunnette, age 66, of Cadillac, formerly of Rockford, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 9, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rolland and Arva Dunnette; brother-in-law, Doug Richardson and sister-in-law, Betty Dunnette. Steve is survived by his loving wife, Jerilyn; his children, Aaron (Kelly) Schab and Lindsey Schab; grandchildren, Jackson Schab and Lilian Schab; siblings, Jill Richardson of Cadillac, Jan (Tom) Host of Grand Rapids and Scott Dunnette of McBain; nieces, Amanda Turner, Devra Lowing and Jessica Cunningham; nephews, Jason Richardson, Anthony Richardson and Josh Host. He is a graduate of Kenowa Hills High School Class of 1971. Steve was a role model to all who knew him and always willing to lend a hand. Steve had a passion for boating, for the open road and a love for dogs. He enjoyed winters in Florida and was a member of The Elks. Steve was a jack of all trades and will be remembered for his kindness and steady, caring presence. His greatest love was his family, especially his grandchildren, Jack and Lily; and Steve greatly enjoyed the time they spent together. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a celebration of Steve's life following at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Bryan McConnell officiating from the Church of Discovery in Cadillac.
