Steven Dale Teesdale, age 70, of Bailey, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren, after a tremendous fight with lymphoma, on Friday, April 3, 2026. Steve was a Husband, Father, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle, Friend and Fixer of all things.

Steve was born February 14, 1956, to the late Arthur and Betty (Grice) Teesdale. He graduated from Sparta High School with the class of 1974. He married his sweetheart, Ann Marie Alt on December 2, 1978, at Holy Trinity Church in Comstock Park. Steve worked 30 years at General Motors before retiring in 2008 and was a farming partner to many on the Ridge. He was a man who wore many hats; he could fix or work on almost anything, and if he didn't know how, he would surely try to figure it out. Steve was a soft spoken and kind hearted man who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Ann; children, Rebecca (Ronald) Riessen of Simpsonville, SC; Heather (Derrick) Grant of Fremont, MI; Andrew (Amanda) Teesdale of Bailey, MI; and Matthew (Emily) Teesdale of Casnovia, MI; 11 cherished grandchildren, Melanie, Landon, Jameson, Miles, Logan, Samuel, Case, Levi, Lucas, Gracelyn and David; sister, Kathy (Raymond) Storey of Rockford, MI; brother, Jeff (Kim Jansma) Teesdale of Cedar Springs, MI; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Arthur and Valerie Alt; and two infant siblings, Connie and Bruce.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321. Visitation will continue Thursday at the funeral home from 10:00am until 11:00am with the funeral service at 11:00am, followed by a luncheon at Apple Valley Event Center in Sparta. Steve will be laid to rest next to his parents at Algoma Township Cemetery.
