Steven Eric Wilson, age 72, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Fayette's AFC Home.  Everyone at the AFC Home and his dear friend, Judy Weeks, will miss him.  Steve was born in Jackson, MI and was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Snell; and stepfather.  Steve worked at Amtek in Standale before working for the city of Grand Rapids as an Instrument Technician in the Waste Water Management Plant.  Steve was proud to be a Navy Veteran.  He served during the Vietnam War from May 1970 to May 1976.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, 3:00 pm at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Ave NW, Comstock Park, MI.  A visitation will take place from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service also on Friday.  Military honors under the auspices of the Kent County Honor Guard.  In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations in Steven's name to Wounded Warriors Project or the Grand Rapids Veterans Home.
