LYNCH - Sylvia Lynch, age 72, of Comstock Park, entered eternal rest with her family by her side on Sunday, March 14, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, James Lynch; and parents, Emilio Rodriguez and Rosa Nieves. Sylvia is survived by her children, Rosemary (John) Anderson, Michael (Pauline) Cassis, Dan (Amy) Lynch, and Jim (Shannon) Lynch; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, Krimilda Rodriguez; brother, Eugenio Rodriguez; nephew, Jayson Rodriguez; niece, Karina Rodriguez; sister-in-law, Margaret "Muggs" (Joe) Grandy; several nieces and nephews. Sylvia's soul mate was her husband, Jim. She was a devoted and beloved mother. Sylvia had a passion for her Puerto Rican heritage and was an amazing cook who never let anyone leave the table hungry. She loved music and dance. The Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on April 27 2021 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1200 Alpine Church Rd., Comstock Park, with Rev. Fr. Chris Rouech officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
