Thomas Henry Griswold, age 60, of Sparta, Michigan, passed away peacefully after his battle with cancer, surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. He was born on February 26, 1966, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Harry and Mary (Thomas) Griswold. Tom dedicated his career to logistics sales, working for various companies throughout the years.

On October 5, 1991, Tom married the love of his life, Barbara “Barbie” Bjork. Together they shared nearly 35 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, laughter, adventure, and unwavering devotion to their family. Tom especially loved taking day trips with Barbie in their convertible, exploring Michigan’s lakeshore and making memories together.

Tom loved God and cherished his family above all else. He had a passion for snowmobiling, was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, enjoyed spending time outdoors, and grilling. Known for his willingness to help anyone in need, Tom was always ready with a helping hand, whether it was fixing something for a friend or teaching his sons how to work on snowmobiles and vehicles.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 35 years, Barbie; son, Sam (Karley); sisters, Gail (Kevin) McGrath and Sue (Jay) Hetzel; sister-in-law, Becky (Nick) Kaechele; faithful buddy, Max; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and son, Spencer. 

Per Tom's wishes cremation has taken place and details for a celebration of life will be released as soon as they become available.
