CHRISTIANSEN - Virgil (Chris) F. Christiansen, age 94, of Comstock Park, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. He was preceded in death by his son, Gary; sister, Virginia; brother, Verner. Virgil is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Lanora (Lonnee); children, Cheryl, Dale, Diane (Jerry) Ronda, Nancy (Marv Ayers); grandchildren, David (Rowena), Kaal (Lori), Roy (Bret), Bryan (Jessica), Scott, Jack (Ivy), Julie, Mark (Courtney) and Craig; 12 great grandchildren; sisters in-law, Evelyn May and Betty Courtade; and brother in-law, Cal Pomarius. Virgil served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and bowling. Virgil will be missed by his constant companions Peanut and Zippy. Please join the family for a gathering of celebration, with refreshments in the Fellowship Hall at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place, inurnment at Pine Grove Cemetery.
