DARIN - Vonna H. Darin, age 86, of Comstock Park, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 29, 2020. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Hoekstra-Darin. Vonna is survived by her son, Eugene M. (Kary) Darin; sister, Jean Thorngate of Battle Creek; grandchildren, Lexi, Nick, Noah, Nate; many friends at Field's Fabric on Plainfield including Judy, Jan, Beverly, Jodie and many more. Vonna grew up in Battle Creek with her sister Jean Thorngate. She was a nursed at Metro Health. In recent years, Vonna worked at Field's Fabric. Vonna especially cherished her son and daughter-in-law, and was blessed by their kindness and care in her final months. Vonna was a special and well-loved person who will be deeply missed. A private blessing has taken place at Holy Family Catholic Church. Service Details.
