HUMES - William "Bill" Patrick Humes, age 61, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, William Humes; and brother, Ken Humes. Bill is survived by his mother, Pat Foster; sisters, Melissa (Tom) Turckley, Ruth (Kurk) Brown, and Rose (David) Rowe; aunts, uncles, many nieces and nephews. Bill enjoyed racing horses in the United States and Canada. His passion for horses gave him so much joy that he preferred the company of horses to all others. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1200 Alpine Church Road, Comstock Park for special intentions of the Charles and Carmelita families.
