WIERSUM - William G. Wiersum, age 88, of Comstock Park, went to his Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 19, 2019. He is survived by best friend, Josée Slack; children, Sharon and Jim Wood, Mary and Ryan Fahling, Rick Wiersum, Steve and Lisa Wiersum, Sue and Rich Sandusky, and his wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bill served as a member of the Kentwood Board of Education for 9 years, and Kentwood Athletic Boosters for 8 years. He retired from Steelcase after 32 years and was a member of the Elks Club. Bill's loved ones will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Celebration of Bill's life will be at the Beuschel Funeral Home, on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, with Pastor Jon Moore from Solomon's Porch Community Church.
