Obituary

MCWILLIAMS - Willis Ralph McWilliams, age 87, of Kent City, went to be with his Lord and Savior, on Saturday, April 12, 2014. Willis was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Henning McWilliams; brothers, Raymond, Bernard and France McWilliams; son in-law, Bill Mikula and grandson, Joseph VanOefflen. He is survived by his beloved children, Raymond and Ann McWilliams, Karon and Larry Flagg, MaryAnn and Joe VanOefflen, JoAnn Mikula, Marylin and Mike Hill, Willis G. and Sue McWilliams, Ron McWilliams, Don McWilliams, 22 precious grandchildren and 24 loving great grandchildren. Willis served in the Army and was a member of the Asbestos Union Local #47, he also was a member of Holy Trinity Church of Alpine and St. Ann's Church of Baldwin. He will be missed by his loving family and friends. Willis enjoyed the wilderness and outdoors, especially bear hunting. A sincere thank you extended for the care received from Spectrum Hospice. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Monday, April 14, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m., with Deacon Gerald Roersma. The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior at Holy Trinity Church, with Rev. Father Tom Simmons and Rev. Father Dick Host as celebrants, also Under The Auspice of Kent County Honor Guard.
