GOLD - Winifred C. Gold (Palmer), of Sparta, age 87, passed on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Wini was preceded in death by her loving husband, Forrest J. Gold Jr., sister, Virginia (Paul) Robinson, and in-laws, Chuck and Shirley Gold. She is survived by her son, Steven (Pam) Gold, daughter, Patricia (Jim) Elliott, grandchildren, Dylan Gold and Jason (Michelle), David (Amy), Ryan and Hannah Elliott, as well as great grandchildren, all whom she loved dearly. Also surviving are sister in-laws, Margaret Gold and Marijean (Vernon) Cumings, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins, who also held a special place in her heart. Wini had many cherished friends, who touched her life over the years. Wini passes with a grateful heart for all of life's blessings. The family will receive visitors at the Beuschel Funeral Home 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The celebration of Wini's life will be offered with Pastor Steve Batchelder officiating immediately following the visitation at the funeral home.
